Basic Membership Benefits
When village members come together to learn something new, participate in an existing interest or simply to enjoy one another's company, they grow and thrive by forging deeper connections with the friendly people in our friendly village community.
Basic Membership includes activities & programs to support Aging Better, as we navigate the challenges and opportunities of aging in place including: Dining, happy hours and coffee meet-ups; educational and health programs; recreation; theater, symphony and museum trips; and tech training.

Member Plus Benefits
Choosing the place we call home is essential for all of us. Supporting members who wish to remain in their current living situation, but have difficulty with some aspects of home maintenance or personal assistance makes the choice of aging in their current home possible. When we know that we have a support network that can check in with us from time to time, we can feel more secure and comfortable living alone.
Member Plus members receive all of the regular Member benefits. Member Plus includes having screened and trained Service Volunteers who offer personal services to save you money, reduce your stress, and simplify your life as you remain in your home.
If a Service Volunteer is not available or not able to meet the need, we have a list of local recommended providers and businesses. Transportation, home and personal assistance, and social support are some of the services offered.
Annual Membership Plus Levels and Dues
Single Basic Membership:
When paid a full year in advance, the cost is $240/year
When paid by monthly installments, the cost is $20/month.
Household Membership: (2 or more residing in the home)
When paid a full year in advance, the cost is $300/year
When paid by monthly installments, the cost is $25/month.
Single Membership Plus
When paid a full year in advance, the cost is $480/year.
When paid by monthly installments, the cost is $40/month.
Household Member Plus (2 or more residing in the home)
When paid a full year in advance, cost is $600/year.
When paid by monthly installments, the cost is $50/month.
Membership Policies
Payment Options:
You may pay annually by credit Card or by check. Monthly payments must be made by credit card and you will be billed automatically.

Refund:
We appreciate your annual commitment. While we do not provide refunds exceptional circumstances will be considered.
Criteria For Membership Plus
- Residents living in the area between Montara and Half Moon Bay.
- Willing to provide emergency contact information (family, friend or other in case of need).
- Responsible for and capable of making key decisions about one's own life.
- Living in a residence that presents no known threats to health or safety to visitors.
- Self-sufficient in meeting personal care needs, either through self-care or with assistance of a personal care-giver.
- Covered medically in place, including relationship with a medical provider.
- Member Plus applicants will be interviewed in their homes to assess eligibility based on these criteria, so that we are mutually assured the Village can meet their needs.
